The Complete List Of Goals – Ideas & Inspiration For Your Goal Setting

Last Updated on August 20, 2022 by Keri

So, you’ve decided that you want to set some goals and start making change in your life… but you have no idea where to start. Well, I’ve got you covered! In this blog post, I share my list of goals which has more than 100 ideas that you can steal for yourself.

And to help you get through this list as efficiently as possible, I have broken the goals up into different categories. So, choose the ones that are applicable to you right now and get started!

But, before we get started… I do have a disclaimer.

I DO NOT believe in setting a whole bunch of goals all at once.

The way I like to look at it is, would you rather put your limited time and energy into just one or two goals and get results quickly, or would you rather spread your time and energy out over a whole bunch of goals and limit your results?

This is something I talk about in-depth in this blog post.

Once you have a goal setting strategy you are ready to get started with, this list of goals will help you:

  • get ideas for each area you want to improve
  • will help you make sure you have thought about your goals from every possible angle

So, let’s jump right into the list of goals!

How To Make A List Of Goals You Want To Do

So, by now, you probably have so many different ideas…

Where do you get started?

Well, the first important step is to identify a goal setting strategy that you want to follow. I share my method in this blog post.

Once you know how many goals you want to set, it becomes a matter of:

  1. knowing what category or categories you want to focus on
  2. choosing the goals that stand out the most to you
  3. prioritizing them

To do this, I actually recommend using sticky notes!

Then, you write each of your goals onto one sticky note per goal.

Once you have all the goals written down, you can start to prioritize them by moving the stickies around until you find a priority list that you are happy with.

Utilize post it notes to help you prioritize your goals from the list of goals you made!

What are some simple goals I can get started with?

If you don’t have time right now to work on really big goals, but you still want to start making change in your life, there are definitely a few simple goals that you can get started with!

Here are my top three picks:

  • Define Your Values – This exercise doesn’t have to take a super long time and can really help you establish what your values are, how you might be living out of alignment with them, and will prompt some small changes you can start to make in your life to get back on track.

I highly recommend doing this exercise BEFORE you start implementing even mini goals. You want to use your simple goals to get you one step closer to your vision.

And remember, the size of the goal doesn’t matter!

    Progress is progress!
  • Start Implementing Routines (Full day, morning or evening) – You might be surprised by how much impact the habits and consistent action you take every day can lead to big results.

So, if you want to focus on implementing these simple steps, I would definitely consider starting here too!
  • Journal Daily – The reason I chose this one is because you might be surprised to see what you can learn about yourself through daily journaling.

Sometimes, things boil up you didn’t even know were there.

And this information can be really helpful to you when you do have more time to start working on your bigger goals!

Final Thoughts

And that is it!

I really hope this blog post has been valuable to you and you got some awesome ideas for your next goals.

I’d love to hear from you, what goal or goals are you going to focus on first? Share in the comments below!
